ここは昔の青山百人町幕臣与力小島持ち家で質屋伊勢屋の離れ屋先生の隠れ家又最後の処である時は嘉永3年（1850）10月卅日夜であつたこの度青山善光寺の碑の再建に際しここを表彰する　1964年

This is the historic spot where CHOEI TAKANO hid himself on the night of October 30,1850(the third Year of Kaei).This was the detached house of Iseya,a pawnshop,owned in olden times by a Shogun's retainer at Hyakunincho,Aoyama.Here he concealed himself and breathed his last.
